Hieu graduated from Bach Khoa university (Ho Chi Minh city) with major of Water Resources belong to Civil Engineering department in 2011.

He has six years experiences in designing and examining with large and small hydro-power plants in Vietnam and Laos such as Song Bung 4A hydro-power plant, Nam Mo hydro-power plant, Nghi Son 1 thermal-power plant, La Ngau hydro-power plant and others.

Hieu joined Vietnam International Adjuster (VIA) since 2017, he has a lot of experience in handling losses relevant to natural perils, explosions and activities under construction.

In 2023, Hieu has gained Loss Adjusting Certification from Department of the Insurance Supervisory Authority (The Ministry of Finance).

He is influent in Vietnamese and English.
